The Best Rainy Day Activity in Whistler
There are great activities in Whistler even on rainy days in Fall! Whether you're visiting or local, Fall in the coastal mountains means one thing, rain, and lots of it. While we rejoice that rain in the valley means snow up top, the seasonal monsoon can leave you feeling cabin feverish and in need of indoor activities. ‘Dead season’ has become synonymous with the waiting game for snow and not much going on, however ‘dead season’ at Treeline Aerial is where all the action happens.
It’s the perfect time of year to not get ‘fomo’ for not being outside. The dark, rainy nights are ideal for taking a class or learning a new skill. The new skills that you can learn at Treeline are much more rewarding than that T.V. programme you can binge watch on Netflix. Investing in yourself never leaves you feeling guilty. It’s also a great opportunity to meet and connect with new people indoors instead of hunkering down into the sofa every night.
Our classes are physically challenging whilst offering a creative outlet. Moving your body for even a short period of the day can make you feel like a new human. You will leave feeling energized and restored with the added bonus of your brain releasing those endorphins. We offer single drop in classes to come and try it out or for those of you that want to commit more- monthly membership packages.
Just visiting for the weekend and the weather is forecasted as rain? Why not check out one of our drop in classes in aerial yoga, pole dancing, handstands, burlesque and much more. You do not need to be a member to come and use our facility. Check out our schedule on our website for the time you are in town and see if something lines up that you are interested in.
If you have a group of friends visiting Whistler or are struggling to find something to do with the kids in the rainy weather contact us for availability for group bookings. Kids aerial silks group bookings are a really fun rainy day activity and something completely different for the kiddos for an hour.
Perhaps you're an aerialist elsewhere and want to get some training in while you're visiting Whistler. We have open gym opportunities for you to come and train while on your vacation. Again no need to be a regular we offer drop ins for visiting aerialists.
Don’t let dead season get you down. There’s magic inside our walls, a cosy sanctuary to escape the rain and enjoy circus and aerial arts.
See you in the Rainy Skies
